RC Digital Technologies Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of next-generation digital solutions. This role is suited for an experienced engineer who can take ownership of complex technical challenges, influence software architecture decisions, and deliver reliable applications that support business growth. You will collaborate with talented developers, product specialists, and technology leaders to create scalable and high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Translate technical requirements into efficient software solutions using modern engineering practices.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, architectural discussions, and engineering best practices.
- Investigate and resolve complex software defects while improving system stability and overall application quality.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX teams, QA specialists, and DevOps engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to software architecture improvements, technical documentation, and long-term engineering strategies.
- Support junior developers through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and constructive technical guidance.
- Promote automation, testing standards, and continuous delivery approaches within development teams.
Qualifications
- Extensive professional experience in software engineering, application development, or enterprise technology environments.
- Strong programming experience with languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar technologies.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and distributed systems.
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies and modern software delivery practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems independently.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Pay: £85,000.00-£101,000.00 per year
