Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Brunch Chef to join our culinary team on weekends. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of brunch dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Duties
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of brunch menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food safety regulations and hygiene practices
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout service
- Monitor stock levels and communicate with suppliers for ingredient replenishment
- Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests, ensuring excellent customer service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy weekend shifts
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Previous kitchen or culinary experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy weekend service times
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation
