Newton Abbot Plants Galore are seeking a Store Manager to help strengthen their very experienced managerial team. Our business has expanded over the past few years and we are seeking the right candidate to help with our future development plans.
You will have extensive training from our Head Office in all aspects of the role. There will be a six month training period provided by our very experienced managers.
Candidates will need to be computer literate, handle day to day head office admin and liaison, help manage the payment area supervision of our tills and payment staff. Once trained you will also be expected to assist and supervise the merchandising of our garden centre sundries, dry goods departments and garden plant departments when needed.
For career minded people we can offer training and progression with salaries of £35k to £45k plus and we are always actively seeking hardworking, bright people who want to build a solid horticultural / retail career with our company.
This is a wide ranging role with general responsibility for the running of a large successful garden centre with a dedicated team of staff.
This role has excellent career potential for the right candidate. You will be part of a four person management team running a busy retail garden centre reporting to the store manager / head office.
