We are looking for a full time kitchen assistant / porter at our wonderful care home in Alresford during a period of maternity leave. Duties include:
- washing up all meal times, with the assistance of our commercial dishwasher
- preparing trays with cutlery and condiments ready for meals to be delivered to individual rooms
- helping during tea / coffee rounds at weekends
- maintaining high standards of cleanliness and tidiness in the servery / food storage and preparation areas
- supporting the chefs / Team Leaders serving meals.
- collecting trays from bedrooms
The shift pattern is 07.30hrs - 19.30hrs, to cover 3-4 days/week including every other week-end. This can be quite a physical job, so breaks are offered as appropriate.
