Oatlands Park Hotel is seeking an exceptional Bar Supervisor.

We are now seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to join our friendly team.
Reporting to the Bar Manager, as Bar Supervisor, you have overall responsibility for supervising a shift.
Main Responsibilities:
The main purpose of this job is to ensure the guest receives the highest quality of service. To assist the operational running of the bar and ensure that staff are fulfilling their duties to the best of their ability:
- Responsible for all areas of the bar operation including: set up, all aspects of service, cashing up, locking up, stock takes, stock control, cellar management, cleaning lines, health and safety and maintenance
- Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Ensure subordinates are groomed and all working to the expected standard
- Effectively manage the bar team to suit business levels
- Promote, describe and upsell items, and offer alternative items as required
- Have complete understanding of menus at all times
- Plan, prepare and mix cocktails
- Prepare drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic
- Train and develop the bar team
- Ensure performance standards are adhered to
- To work in other departments as directed
- Ensure the bar areas, back and front of house are clean and tidy at all times
- Assist with production of weekly rotas as required
Skills and Requirements:
- Must understand 4-star hotel restaurant/bar operations
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work within a team and supervise the team
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent customer care skills
- Good time management and ability to prioritise effectively
- It is essential that you are a driver or live within walking distance of the hotel
Qualifications:
- Hospitality qualification or working towards would be desirable
- GCSE grade c in English and maths

- High standard of grooming and presentation
- Attention to detail
- Open for direction, correction and training
- Polite and welcoming character
- High standard of spoken and written English
- Passion for customer service
