About the role
Balfour Beatty’s Regional Build team is delivering a diverse portfolio of exciting building projects across the UK, creating high-quality, sustainable environments across sectors including healthcare, education, defence, commercial and advanced manufacturing.
We’re looking for an experienced Revit Engineer with strong MEP experience to join our Regional Build team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong individual to play a key role in the successful delivery of projects, working closely with our design, engineering, construction and supply chain teams.
You’ll use your Revit expertise to support the development, coordination and delivery of MEP information, helping ensure designs are accurate, buildable and effectively integrated into the wider project.
What you'll be doing
As a (MEP) Revit Engineer you will:
- Developing and managing detailed MEP models using Revit.
- Producing and coordinating accurate technical drawings and model information.
- Working closely with MEP designers, engineers, architects and construction teams.
- Coordinating MEP services with architectural and structural elements.
- Identifying and resolving design clashes and coordination issues.
- Supporting BIM coordination and information management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Reviewing design information to ensure it is accurate, compliant and suitable for construction.
- Working with specialist subcontractors and the wider supply chain to ensure coordinated MEP solutions.
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
- Proven experience working as a Revit Engineer, Revit Technician or MEP Revit professional.
- Strong practical experience using Autodesk Revit, ideally within a construction, engineering or building services environment.
- Good understanding of MEP systems and building services coordination.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary models and resolving clashes.
- Knowledge of BIM processes and information management.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and design information.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
