Overview
ASX Group are seeking an experienced and proactive Working Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations across our Project & Minor Works. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing teams, on site, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with strong management skills to contribute to the successful delivery of complex projects. The position is suitable for candidates with prior supervisory experience in a relevant industry.
This role is a offered on a Self Employed Basis. Paid Weekly (CIS Deducted). Please note that although the advert is based in Brisol - we are national fitout company, and this role will require you to work / stay away - and be available (on rotation) for weekend works. Additional food allowance is paid, and the company pre-books accommodation when required.
Project Sizes will vary from £10k - £150k.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate site activities to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules
- Manage site personnel, including subcontractors and labour teams, providing clear instructions and support
- Monitor health and safety compliance, conducting regular inspections and addressing any hazards promptly
- Update, and track project schedules, ensuring milestones are achieved on time
- Liaise with project managers, clients, and suppliers to facilitate smooth communication and resolve issues swiftly
- Maintain accurate documentation of site activities, progress reports, and safety records
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulations, standards, and client specifications
- Lead by example in promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Experience
- Proven management experience within the construction (refurb) sector.
- Supervising experience with a track record of successfully leading teams on-site
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to problem-solve quickly and adapt to changing project requirements

Pay: £21.00-£25.00 per hour
