Airbag Disposal UK and Vantage Waste Solutions are market leaders in the compliant collection, transportation, processing and recycling of automotive safety restraint systems and hazardous waste across the UK and Europe.
Due to continued operational demand, we're looking for a motivated Recycling & Processing Technician to join our Operations Team on a 3-month fixed-term contract.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced operational environment where safety, teamwork and quality are at the heart of everything we do. You'll support the compliant processing of specialist waste streams while helping maintain high operational and environmental standards across our warehouse and recycling facilities.

About the Role
As part of our Operations Team you'll support a variety of warehouse and recycling activities, including:
- Processing vehicle safety restraint systems and associated waste streams safely and compliantly.
- Supporting dismantling, decommissioning and recycling activities following approved procedures.
- Loading, unloading and moving materials throughout the warehouse.
- Sorting, preparing and handling materials for recycling.
- Supporting waste segregation and environmental compliance.
- Operating tools and equipment following training and authorisation.
- Carrying out equipment checks and reporting defects where required.
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping and workplace organisation.
- Working safely in accordance with Company Health & Safety procedures.
- Supporting colleagues across the operation as business needs require.

Training can be provided, however experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

- Recycling or waste management.
- Forklift Truck Licence.
- Operation of industrial equipment.
- Environmental or regulated waste operations.

Working Hours
- Full-time
- Minimum 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating shift: 6am - 2.30pm (week 1) 09.30am - 6.30pm (week 2)
- Some flexibility may be required to support operational requirements.
Contract
This position is offered on a 3-month fixed-term contract to support increased operational demand.
There may be opportunities for extension or future permanent vacancies depending on business requirements and individual performance.
