Job Overview
We are an expanding construction company seeking an experienced, highly organised, and forward-thinking Construction Site Manager to oversee our new development at Blackburn from inception to completion. You will take full ownership of daily site operations, lead diverse delivery teams, and maintain strict budget control. Duties
- Managing day-to-day site operations and ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth workflow and effective communication.
- Manage site staff, including supervising subcontractors and labourers, fostering a productive team environment.
- Monitor progress against project timelines, budgets, and quality standards; implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure health and safety compliance, reporting any hazards or incidents promptly.
- Liaising with clients, engineers, utility companies and other statutory bodies to resolve issues and manage expectations.
- Ensure all construction activities are carried out in accordance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
- Managing site facilities, welfare and housekeeping to maintain professional standards.
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with the build programme .

- Knowledge of Substructure works would be beneficial
What we are looking for
- Minimum 3 years experience as a site manager in new housing developments
- Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation
- Must have a valid First Aid certificate
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating teams
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Full UK driving licence
What we offer
- £50,000 plus per annum depending on experience
