Operating in the FMCG sector, we offer both cross dock and storage & picking services for a variety of temperature-controlled foodstuffs from our own 5 warehouse facility as well as distribution throughout the UK & Europe on our fleet of 60 vehicles, primarily offering a ‘groupage’ service as well as full load movements with professionalism and efficiency.

Due to a member of our team relocating we are looking to recruit a highly motivated ‘team player’ to join our busy transport operation as a Traffic Co-ordinator. If you are looking for a dynamic work environment and have an interest in road transport logistics, we would love to hear from you.
The Position
The full-time position requires a logical thinking candidate who can work methodically under pressure, good communication and administrative skills along with geographical knowledge are essential. The role will involve efficient and cost-effective planning through our TMS, as well as liaising with customers, drivers, and other departments within the business. It is essential that the successful applicant can work both lone and as a team member, contributing, sharing, and building ideas together to achieve the smooth running of the Peter Green Chilled transport operation. Shift
40 hour week including weekend and on-call cover
Varying 9 hour shift ( 8 hours working with 1 hour unpaid break)
Weekend, Bank Holiday and on call cover on rota basis - overtime or TOIL
