Luxury Hair Salon Manager
We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated and commercially minded Salon Manager to lead our luxury salon operation. This role requires an individual with extensive experience in both hairdressing and salon management, capable of inspiring a high-performing team whilst delivering an exceptional client experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance, profitability and day-to-day management of the salon whilst maintaining the highest standards expected within a premium salon environment.
Essential Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in salon management.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience within the hair industry.
- Proven track record of increasing salon turnover and profitability.
- Experience managing a team of stylists, colourists, apprentices and front-of-house staff.
- Strong understanding of salon KPIs, retail performance and team productivity.
- Experience within a luxury or premium salon environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop the salon team to achieve business targets.
- Drive growth in turnover, retail sales and client retention.
- Oversee daily salon operations ensuring exceptional client service standards.
- Manage staffing levels, rotas, recruitment and performance management.
- Deliver regular team meetings, coaching sessions and appraisals.
- Monitor KPIs including utilisation, rebooking, average bill value and retail conversion.
- Manage stock control, ordering and supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety, employment and operational policies.
- Resolve client concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Support marketing initiatives, events and promotional campaigns.
- Work closely with the Managing Director to implement business strategy and growth plans.
