*Job Description:*
We are seeking a talented and versatile CAD Designer / Technitian to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in stone fabrication, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in CAD software. This role requires someone who can accurately create detailed fabrication drawings.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- CAD Drawings: Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for kitchen worktops, islands, bathrooms, splashbacks, and architectural stone using templates and site surveys
- Technical Drawings: Produce manufacturing drawings with dimensions, edge profiles, cut-outs, joints, and fixing details for the workshop
- Coordination: Manage projects and deadlines. Issue final drawing packs for production and installation
- Collaborate with sales, design, fabrication, and installation teams to coordinate project phases.
- Ensure all projects meet quality standards and client requirements.
*Qualifications:*
-Experience: 2+ years experience in CAD design, preferably within stone fabrication, kitchens, joinery, or construction
- Software: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or others).
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of stone materials - granite, quartz, marble, sintered including tolerances, jointing, and fabrication processes
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy with dimensions, tolerances, and technical detailing
- Problem Solving: Ability to find practical solutions for complex designs and site constraints
- Communication: Strong communication skills to liaise with workshop, sales, and clients
- Legal: Right to work in the UK
- Driving License: Full UK driving license preferred for site visits
