Job Summary
LGBTQ-owned, boutique international trademark practice seeking a lawyer licensed in the US (any jurisdiction) to join our rapidly growing legal practice.
We provide services to individuals and small/medium sized businesses from outside of the US, with a heavy focus on clients from Asia. We also hope to expand into providing trademark services in the UK (thus the posting in the UK).
Fully flexible role, with the ability to work from anywhere in the world, and set your own hours (as long as there is some overlap with the principal attorney, who resides in the UK). The successful candidate will be filing new trademark applications, responses to office actions, change of attorney/representative forms, and more.
Applications MUST be a licensed lawyer in the United States (any US state, DC, Puerto Rico, Guam, USVI or other US territories). This is a legal requirement to work before USPTO. If you are not a licensed in the US in good standing your application will be discarded without review.
No experience is necessary. Part-time, possibility for long term collaboration, and full-time (contract) work. We are growing very fast, this could easily become a full time role within a few months. Though this is contract work, we do offer some paid time off and other benefits (dependent upon where you live).
