Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Damp Proofer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying damp proofing solutions to protect buildings from moisture damage. This role requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and applying necessary primers before damp proofing treatment
- Apply damp proofing materials accurately using appropriate tools and techniques
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment on-site
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and any issues encountered
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently throughout all tasks
Skills
- Valid driving licence is essential for transporting equipment and travelling between sites
- Good command of English, both spoken and written, for clear communication
- Customer service skills to interact professionally with clients during site visits
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality application of damp proofing solutions
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and adapt to different site environments
