Duties
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety protocols
- Lead food production efforts by preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes that meet quality standards
- Manage and motivate the culinary team through effective team management and leadership skills
- Oversee food safety practices, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless serving experiences for guests
- Develop new menu items and refine existing recipes to keep offerings fresh and exciting
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to optimize kitchen efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary arts
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Extensive kitchen experience with knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
- Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on delivering exceptional guest service during serving
