Part-Time Chef – 25 Hours Per Week
Blackdoor Bar & Bistro – West Derby
We’re looking for an experienced, reliable chef to join our team.
Hours & Pay
Wednesday & Thursday
- 8:30am – 3:00pm
- £16.00 per hour
On these days, you’ll be responsible for running the kitchen alongside a kitchen porter. You must be confident working independently, managing service, keeping the kitchen organised and producing consistently high-quality food.
Saturday & Sunday
- 9:00am – 3:00pm
- £13.00 per hour
At weekends, you’ll work as the second chef alongside our experienced head chef. You’ll assist with food preparation, service and plating during our busiest shifts. As you’ll be supporting the head chef rather than running the kitchen, the rate reflects the different level of responsibility.
What we’re looking for
- Previous chef experience is essential.
- Able to work calmly under pressure.
- Reliable, punctual and organised.
- High standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
- Excellent teamwork and communication.
- Plating and presentation must be of an extremely high standard.
- A genuine passion for producing consistently high-quality food.
