We’re looking for an energetic, hands-on and people-focused Assistant General Manager to join our team and help lead one of the area’s busiest hospitality venues.
The Lansdowne is not just a busy bar - we do weddings, corporate events, comedy nights, wine tastings and so much more.
With a vibrant bar and restaurant, hotel rooms, private events, and live music throughout the week, no two days are ever the same here. This is a full time position. Flexibility is important, including over weekends and evenings.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the day-to-day running of our busy venue across bar, restaurant, hotel and events
- Leading, motivating and developing the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences every shift
- Overseeing private events from preparation through to service, ensuring every detail runs smoothly
- Being a visible and approachable leader on the floor, setting the tone for service and standards
- Handling guest feedback and resolving issues professionally and positively
- Assisting with staff training, rotas, recruitment and team development
- Monitoring operational standards, cleanliness, health & safety and overall presentation
- Supporting reservations, hotel operations and smooth communication between departments
- Helping drive a positive culture where both guests and staff enjoy being part of the venue
What We’re Looking For
- Previous supervisory or management experience within hospitality
- Experience and confidence working in busy bars, restaurants, hotels and/or event spaces
- A natural leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
- Someone proactive, adaptable and calm under pressure
- A team player who leads with positivity, professionalism and energy
- Strong understanding of service standards and daily hospitality operations
