Caring Hand Services Ltd is recruiting experienced Male Support Workers for supported housing services.
We are looking for reliable, compassionate and confident support workers with strong experience supporting adults with complex needs, mental health conditions and learning disabilities.
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in health & social care or supported housing.
* Experience supporting adults with mental health needs, including schizophrenia.
* Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and behaviours that may challenge
* Have experience in supported housing and a ward.
* Calm, patient and confident managing complex situations.
* Strong communication and person-centred approach.
* Enhanced DBS in line with role/client requirements.
* Right to Work in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide person-centred support and promote independence.
* Support residents with daily routines and care/support plans.
* Respond appropriately to challenging behaviour and incidents.
* Maintain accurate records and report concerns.
* Work effectively with colleagues and other professionals.
