Job Summary
We are seeking a flexible, diligent and reliable out of hours cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, washrooms, corridors, sport facilities and communal areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, windows, and fixtures are kept spotless and well-maintained
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet roll as needed
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards in busy environments
This role is 3 hours per day from 9am to 12pm (hours are not flexible)
Pay: £12.71 per hour
