Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment
- Support meal assembly and presentation to ensure visually appealing dishes
- Collaborate with team members to meet service times and quality expectations
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of shortages
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen environments
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
