This is a bank position to start with, may lead maternity cover, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate support to individuals i. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with overnight care, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks
- Support individuals with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary, promoting healthy eating habits.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions to senior staff.
- Implement care plans tailored to each client's needs, ensuring adherence to prescribed routines.
- Communicate effectively with clients,
- Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field of care.
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to follow care plans accurately while being attentive to the individual needs of clients.
- Experience in a care home setting or home care environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Proficiency in IT systems for maintaining records and communicating within the team is beneficial.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Capability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when working independently.
