SENIOR PLANNING & ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANT

About the role
This is a leadership role where you’ll work closely with consultants and technical specialists across live projects, helping maintain momentum, improve project management behaviours and support stronger operational performance across the business.
You’ll be expected to:
- Step into projects when progress slows
- Commercial responsibility, such as managing clients and budgets
- Be a single point of contact for clients
- Pioneer client engagement, professionally and commercially
- Engage the local authority planners and consultees
- Support consultants with prioritisation and decision-making
- Challenge drift, delay and avoidance
- Improve consistency across delivery standards
- Support stronger communication and accountability
- Help projects progress commercially as well as technically
- Encourage consultants to take ownership confidently
- Support the wider leadership team operationally
Experience and qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in planning/environmental consultancy
- Relevant degree

Pay: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
