An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Sales Manager to join a successful premium automotive retailer in the Stoke-on-Trent area.
We’re looking for an ambitious, results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and has a proven track record of leading successful sales teams.
The Role
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the dealership’s sales operation, driving performance across new and used vehicles while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, motivating and developing a high-performing sales team.
- Driving new and used vehicle sales performance.
- Managing daily sales activity and ensuring targets are consistently achieved.
- Coaching and mentoring Sales Executives to maximise performance.
- Monitoring KPIs, profitability and conversion rates.
- Working closely with the General Manager to deliver business objectives.
- Ensuring excellent customer satisfaction throughout the sales journey.
- Maintaining high operational and compliance standards.
About You
To be considered, you should have:
- Previous experience as a Sales Manager, General Sales Manager or a high-performing Business Manager ready to step into a Sales Manager role.
- A successful background within the motor trade.
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
- A proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
