Role Summary:
Thrifted is a dynamic, forward-thinking online thrift store, offering a curated selection of pre-loved and vintage clothing. We’re looking for an engaging and personable Live Selling Presenter to join our team and help create exciting content across our platforms!
We’re looking for a confident creator to bring Live Selling to life across Whatnot & Tiktok LIve
The ideal candidate is passionate about vintage fashion, comfortable on camera, and has the charisma to keep people watching. This role is more about selling clothes, its about building a brand that feels like a community.
Responsibilities
- Host interactive live auctions on TikTok, showcasing curated vintage pieces in a way that’s both entertaining and informative. You’ll bring energy and personality to each stream, presenting items with style details, brand history, and tips on how to wear them, while driving excitement and bids from viewers. The role is about creating a lively shopping experience that reflects Thrifted’s love for vintage fashion—turning each auction into a moment of community, discovery, and fun.
Skills & Experience -
Not essential, but beneficial if you have experience using cameras or mobile devices to capture high-quality content.
You need to be personable, energetic, and able to connect with a student centric audience of 18-30 across our social media platforms.
Understanding vintage and streetwear brands is a must!
A solid understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and other trending platforms is key.
Shifts available / Possible:
Morning Live - 10am - 12:30/1
Afternoon Live - 1-3pm
Evening Live - 6:30 - 9:30pm
Weekend Live - as above across Saturday/ Sunday
Location: Hackney Wick
Position: Freelance Contract - (1-2 days per week required on contract)
Pay: £16-25 ph according to which timing and experience.
ESSENTIALS -
- Be able to create a strong social media presence.
- Passionate about fashion and vintage clothing.
- Comfortable hosting live sessions and engaging with followers.
- Able to work 1-2 days per week, with availability for Friday live sessions and occasional weekend work
Other desirables -
- Camera and recording equipment
- Qualification or experience working in a similar position
- Fashion industry connections
- Due to the average sizing of our vintage stock, an ideal candidate would be a size M/L.
