We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Production Manager to join a well-established food production environment. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys being actively involved on the shop floor rather than being office-based.
You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring production runs efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and leading a team of approximately 15 production staff
- Overseeing day-to-day production activities to meet targets and deadlines
- Ensuring all health & safety and food safety standards are upheld
- Supporting, training, and motivating staff to achieve high performance
- Troubleshooting issues on the production floor and implementing solutions
- Maintaining a strong presence on the shop floor
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Production Manager or similar role within a food production environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Hands-on approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities
- Good understanding of production processes and compliance standards
