Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CPCS/NPORS 360 Driver to join our dynamic construction team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will operate heavy machinery, specifically the 360-degree excavator, to assist with various construction projects. Your mechanical knowledge and commercial driving experience will be essential in ensuring safe, efficient, and precise operation of equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects while maintaining the highest safety standards and operational excellence.
Duties
- Operate CPCS/NPORS certified 360-degree excavators with precision and safety across multiple construction sites
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with site preparation, material handling, and excavation tasks as directed by project managers
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment movement and project timelines effectively
- Maintain detailed logs of machine usage, inspections, and any issues encountered during operation
- Support other site activities requiring mechanical expertise or commercial driving skills as needed
Skills
- Proven experience operating CPCS or NPORS certified 360 excavators in a construction setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance
- Valid commercial driving license with clean driving record for transporting equipment or materials if required
- Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to heavy machinery operation
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report any operational concerns effectively
