We are looking for a skilled and passionate Sewing Machinist to join our friendly, dedicated team.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for fashion and sewing and take pride in producing work to a high standard of quality and finish. You should be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
This is a part-time position of approximately 16 hours per week, with the possibility of progressing to full-time hours for the right person.
Key Requirements:
- Experience using an industrial single-needle sewing machine and overlocker
- Good hand-sewing skills and attention to finishing details
- Ability to consistently produce work to a high standard of quality
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
- Fluent spoken English and good communication skills
- A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
- Experience working with a variety of fabrics and garments is desirable
The role will involve working on a variety of general clothing as well as bridal and occasionwear, offering the opportunity to work on a diverse range of garments and develop your skills further.
