Overview
Storage UK is recruiting an experienced Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join our team at our Bonnybridge warehouse. This role suits a reliable FLT Counterbalance and Articulated Flexi/Bendi Forklift Operator with strong goods-receiving and stock control experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating counterbalance and articulated flexi/bendi forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse
- Accurately record stock into the inventory system
- Store goods in designated warehouse locations
- Support stock checks and inventory control
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assisting with general warehouse duties such as loading/unloading lorries
- Check deliveries against paperwork and inspect for damage
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving, picking & packing
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
Requirements
- Previous Warehouse Operative experience
- Valid Counterbalance and flexi/bendi FLT licences (essential)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Physically fit and confident with manual handling
- Reliable, proactive team player
Hours
Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm or 9.00am to 5.30pm - 1 hour unpaid lunch break
Alternative Saturdays 8.00am to 12 noon - 15 minute unpaid break
Pay: £13.53 per hour
