Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Volunteer Maintenance/Handyman to support the upkeep and repair of our facilities. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks, ensuring the safety and functionality of our premises. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of technical skills, including electrical, mechanical, and welding expertise, and demonstrate strong leadership and customer service abilities. This position offers valuable hands-on experience within a supportive environment committed to community service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs across the organisation’s facilities, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Supervise maintenance activities, ensuring safety standards are adhered to at all times.
- Assist with organising maintenance schedules and prioritising urgent repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service to staff and visitors by addressing maintenance requests promptly and professionally.

Requirements
- Proven experience with general maintenance tasks.
