Duties as a Senior Vehicle Technician will include:
- Conduct diagnostics and repairs on light commercial vehicles (LCV), focusing on engine performance, suspension, clutch replacements, cambelts, and general mechanical work
- Lead and oversee workshop operations, managing workflow and productivity to ensure efficient service delivery
- Support and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance on technical issues and troubleshooting
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Ensure workshop safety standards and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Utilise advanced diagnostic equipment and ensure technical issues are resolved promptly and accurately
- Assist colleagues with mechanical tasks and share knowledge to promote team development
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Vehicle Technician, Master Technician, or equivalent role within the motor trade
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong diagnostic skills, particularly with light commercial vehicles
- Mechanical repair expertise in clutch, cambelt, suspension, and general vehicle servicing
- Excellent communication skills and a solutions-focused attitude
- Familiarity with modern diagnostic equipment and workshop management systems
- Relevant industry qualifications or certificates confirming senior-level competency
