About Rollcut
Rollcut is a family-owned manufacturing business with over 30 years' experience supplying precision converted materials to customers across a wide range of industries.
As part of our continued investment in the business, we're looking to appoint an Operations Manager to join our leadership team.
This is a newly created role and an opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day manufacturing operation, working closely with the Directors to support the next stage of Rollcut's development.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable leading people, improving processes and taking ownership of the day-to-day manufacturing operation.
The Role
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the manufacturing operation, ensuring production runs efficiently, the team is supported and standards are maintained across the business.
Working closely with the Directors, you'll help drive operational improvements while creating a positive, accountable working environment.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll lead a team of approximately 10 production and warehouse employees.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:00
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day manufacturing operation.
- Coordinate production and workflow.
- Support, develop and motivate the production team.
- Drive continuous improvement across the operation.
- Maintain high standards of quality, health & safety and housekeeping.
- Monitor operational performance and resolve issues as they arise.
- Work alongside the Directors to help deliver the company's long-term objectives.
About You
You'll have previous experience in a manufacturing leadership role and be comfortable leading people in a busy production environment.
