Mitchell & Murdoch Care Ltd (MM Care) is looking for enthusiastic, compassionate and reliable Community Wellbeing Coordinators to join our growing team. For Blairgowrie and cupar Angus areas
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to use their life experience, caring skills and passion for helping others to make a genuine difference to people in the community.
What will you be doing?
As a Community Wellbeing Coordinator, you will support older people and individuals within their own communities, helping them to remain independent, active and connected.
Your role could include:
- Supporting clients with shopping and essential errands
- Helping clients get out and about and stay connected with their community
- Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Supporting clients to maintain and organise their household bills, helping them understand what needs to be paid and when
- Supporting clients to maintain their independence at home and in the community
- Encouraging healthy lifestyles and positive wellbeing
- Identifying changes in wellbeing and reporting concerns appropriately
- Supporting clients to access appropriate community services and resources
- Maintaining accurate records of support provided
- Working alongside colleagues and other professionals to ensure clients receive the right support
We are interested in people who have experience supporting others and, most importantly, have the right attitude.
You may have worked in:
- Care or support
- Nursing or healthcare
- Community services
- Education
- Hospitality
- Voluntary organisations
- Customer service
- Social care
- Or simply have valuable life experience helping and supporting others
We can help you develop the skills you need.
Training and ongoing support will be provided, so if you are passionate about helping people and want to make a difference, we want to hear from you.
FLEXIBLE HOURS AVAILABLE
Only have a few hours available each week? That's OK!
