I M Accident Repair Centre is a busy, well-established accident repair centre looking for an experienced Strip Fitter / MET Technician to join our growing team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for stripping and refitting vehicles involved in accident damage repairs, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and in line with manufacturer guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Strip and refit vehicle components, including mechanical, electrical, and trim parts.
- Diagnose and report any additional damage found during dismantling.
- Ensure all parts are stored and labelled correctly.
- Work closely with estimators, panel technicians, and painters.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and productivity.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Strip Fitter, MET Technician, or Vehicle Technician.
- Experience within a bodyshop or accident repair environment preferred.
- Good knowledge of modern vehicle systems and components.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
