The Role
This is an exciting, fast-paced B2B role where no two days are the same. Dealing with customers from a multitude of industrial sectors, you will be the go-to contact for engineering product supply. Whether communicating via telephone or email, you will use your technical familiarity and engaging communication style to swiftly build trust and develop long lasting customer relationships. We operate with a ‘right first time’ mentality, delivering exceptional customer service while proactively identifying commercial opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
· Customer Engagement: Handling inbound B2B technical queries, advising clients on engineering products and tailoring solutions to their specific operational needs.
· Commercial Growth: Proactively follow up on quotes and conduct targeted outbound calls/emails to develop new business and cross-sell/upsell relevant MRO products.
· Order Management: Accurately prepare quotes, sales orders, and purchase orders in line with company standards.
· Relationship Management: Build strong rapport with client procurement and maintenance teams to ensure best-in-class service and high levels of customer retention.
· Team Collaboration: Work positively within the internal sales unit and cross-functionally with warehouse, accounting, e-commerce and purchasing departments.
What We Are Looking For
· Industry Experience: Proven experience in a B2B sales or account management role, ideally within an Industrial MRO, engineering components, or industrial supplies environment.
· Communication Skills: An engaging, confident communicator able to overcome objections and think creatively to solve customer problems.
· Detail-Oriented: A ‘right first time’ approach with excellent workload management and strong familiarity with Microsoft Office.
· Education & Licences: GCSE or equivalent (Required), valid UK Driving Licence (Preferred).

Pay: £26,500.00-£32,000.00 per year
