About the Role
As a Night Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents feel safe, comfortable and well cared for throughout the night. Working under the guidance of our Senior Carers and Nurses, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care while promoting residents' dignity, independence and wellbeing.
Night shifts are an essential part of our care team, providing reassurance, responding promptly to residents' needs and ensuring a calm, safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to each resident's individual needs.
- Assist residents with personal care, continence care, repositioning and mobility during the night.
- Carry out regular wellbeing and safety checks in accordance with individual care plans.
- Respond promptly to call bells and provide reassurance and emotional support to residents.
- Accurately record care delivered and report any changes in residents' health, behaviour or wellbeing.
- Maintain a clean, safe and secure environment for residents throughout the night.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure a smooth handover between day and night teams.
- Follow safeguarding, infection prevention, medication and health and safety procedures at all times.

Previous experience in care is desirable but not essential, as full training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
