Nursery Nurse - NW3
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and enthusiastic Nursery Third in Charge to join our management team and play an important role in the day-to-day running of our nursery.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure the nursery provides a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager with the effective day-to-day operation of the nursery.
- Take responsibility for the nursery in the absence of senior management when required.
- Lead and support staff, promoting high standards of practice and teamwork.
- Ensure children receive high-quality care, learning, and development opportunities.
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities in line with the EYFS.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and child welfare.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
- Support staff with observations, assessments, planning, and children’s development.
- Assist with staff supervision, mentoring, and professional development.
- Help ensure nursery policies and procedures are consistently followed.
- Support with regulatory requirements and preparation for inspections.
Experience:
- Nursery Nurse: 1 year (required)
