The Sales Executive is an integral part of the Premium, C&E and Partnerships Team, providing essential support to the Head of Premium Sales, C&E and Partnerships at Sheffield City Hall.
The main responsibility of the role is to drive significant sales performance, achieve revenue and growth targets, secure the highest possible business retention rates and fulfil the vision of the venue to put the customer at heart of everything we do.
Deliver sales, revenue and profitability targets across premium hospitality, events, sponsorship and partnerships.
Generate new business through proactive sales activity, lead conversion and client relationship management.
Create, sell and manage commercial packages that maximise contribution and venue revenue.
Account manage clients and partners, providing exceptional service and identifying upselling opportunities.
Negotiate contracts, pricing and commercial agreements in line with company policies and profit objectives.
Coordinate site visits, presentations and stakeholder meetings to secure new and repeat business.
Work closely with marketing, ticketing and venue teams to maximise inventory, drive sales campaigns and enhance customer experiences.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer insights to identify new opportunities and improve performance.
Maintain accurate CRM records, sales reports and forecasting data to support business planning and decision-making.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, operational procedures, health & safety and counter-terrorism requirements.
Proven sales and account management skills, with the ability to identify opportunities, negotiate effectively and secure new business.
Highly customer-focused, delivering exceptional service and building long-term client relationships.
Strong communication, administration and numerical skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Self-motivated and organised, able to prioritise workloads, manage time effectively and perform under pressure to meet deadlines.
Commercially driven with a passion for live events, a collaborative mindset and a strong desire to exceed revenue targets and business objectives.
