Walker Slater is a leading clothing company renowned for quality craftsmanship and classic style. We are looking for a Warehouse Operative with Driver cover to join our team in Edinburgh. This role is key to ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials
- Pick and fill orders accurately from stock
- Pack and dispatch orders to customers
- Manage, organize, and retrieve stock within the warehouse
- Perform regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
- Operate warehouse equipment as required
- Undertake other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
- Provide driving cover for our main driver during holidays, including:
- One daily delivery trip to Victoria Street
- Two weekly delivery trips to Glasgow
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Valid UK driving licence
- Must be aged 25 or over (for insurance purposes related to driving duties)
