Part-Time Delivery DriverJob Overview
We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our growing team. This role will initially be one day per week, with additional shifts available to cover busy periods and annual leave when required. Flexibility is essential.
As the face of our business, you will be responsible for delivering chilled products to restaurants, takeaways, and retail customers across the Leicester area. A refrigerated company van will be provided. This is a physically active role involving regular lifting and manual handling, so a good level of fitness is important.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely deliver chilled products to restaurants, shops, and takeaways across the Leicester area.
- Collect goods from suppliers when required.
- Load and unload stock carefully, including heavy lifting and manual handling.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with planned routes.
- Operate a refrigerated company van safely and responsibly, following all road traffic regulations.
- Provide a friendly, professional, and courteous service to customers.
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle.
- Report any delivery issues or vehicle concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Must be 25 years or older (insurance requirements).
- Hold a full UK driving licence with at least 5 years' driving experience.
- No current penalty points.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Successful DBS check required.
- Previous delivery driving or commercial driving experience is desirable.
- Physically fit and able to carry out heavy lifting and manual handling.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while maintaining high safety standards.
