Graduate Teaching Assistant – No School Experience Required

Pay: £95–£110 per day

Parker Smith Inclusion is recruiting enthusiastic graduates to work as Teaching Assistants in welcoming primary, secondary and specialist schools across Barnet.
You do not need previous school experience.
We are looking for graduates who are confident, patient and genuinely interested in supporting children and young people. Your degree subject is less important than your attitude, reliability and ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
What will you be doing?
Depending on the school, you may be:
- Supporting pupils with their learning and classroom engagement
- Working one-to-one with a child who needs additional support
- Helping pupils with autism, ADHD or other additional needs
- Delivering small-group literacy or numeracy activities
- Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Encouraging pupils to become more confident and independent
- Assisting teachers with lessons and classroom activities
This role will give you valuable experience in safeguarding, SEND, behaviour support, classroom management and child development.

- Can commit to a full academic year
- Is available Monday to Friday during school hours
Previous school experience is not essential. Experience through tutoring, coaching, childcare, mentoring, youth work, care work or volunteering would be useful.
