Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Activity Camp Manager to oversee the organisation and delivery of engaging activities at our summer camp in. This role involves coordinating daily programmes, supervising staff and participants, and ensuring a safe, enjoyable environment for all attendees. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a background in hospitality or guest services, and a passion for creating memorable experiences for children and families. Duties
- Plan, organise, and oversee daily activity schedules to ensure a diverse and engaging programme for campers.
- Supervise and support activity staff, providing guidance and ensuring high standards of service delivery.
- Foster a welcoming environment by delivering exceptional guest services to campers and their families.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of camp activities and facilities.
- Manage participant registration, attendance records, and activity feedback to optimise programme quality.
- Ensure health and safety protocols are strictly followed during all activities, maintaining a secure environment.
- Handle any guest concerns or issues promptly, maintaining positive relationships with campers and their guardians.
- Assist in the setup and organisation of camp facilities, equipment, and materials required for activities.
Experience
- Proven management experience, preferably within hospitality, leisure, or youth programmes.
- Strong background in guest services or customer care roles with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience in organising or supervising recreational activities is highly desirable.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is advantageous but not essential.
