Opportunity to join a small team working in a catering trailer in Deganwy on a permanent basis.
We are looking for a barista/server to join our small team working in an onsite catering trailer, working 4/5 days a week Monday to Friday, day time hours.
Duties
- Preparing hot drinks using espresso coffee machine
- Minimum kitchen prep - salads, sandwich fillers etc.
- Taking lunch orders and helping serve lunch - you will always be working with another member of the team.
- Washing up, brushing and mopping the floor, maintaining a high standard of cleaning throughout.
- Emptying and taking the bins out.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
The Ideal Candidate
- Drives and has own transport
- Barista trained or previous coffee making experience
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Good communicator
- Fully flexible Monday - Friday
- Food hygiene certificate level 2
Our opening hours are:
Mondays - 10:00 - 12:30
Tues - Thurs - 10:00 - 14:30
Fridays - 10:00 - 12:30
Shifts will begin and end approx 15 mins before and after these times. Work rota is done on a monthly basis, this position will be for 4 or 5 days a week at 16 - 21.5 hours.
This position is Monday to Friday only and always day time hours, no weekends or evenings!
Please be aware, we are situated outside, so it does get cold in the winter.
