What does the average day look like?
As an Assistant Accountant, your day will be varied and rewarding. You'll play a key role in preparing reports and forecasts that support important business decisions, while also working closely with different teams to explain the numbers and highlight opportunities for improvement. From reconciliations and analysis to process improvements and project support, you'll be involved in a wide range of finance activities that keep things running smoothly. Alongside this, you'll be building great relationships, developing your technical expertise, and gaining valuable exposure that will help you grow your career in finance.
Essential Criteria
¿ Working towards or member of a relevant professional body, (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, AAT).
¿ Sufficient experience in a finance management accountant/support role.
¿ Advanced Excel skills and high-level numerical skills and ability to interpret data quickly.
¿ Strong attention to detail.
¿ Successful experience of working in a customer focused environment.
¿ React swiftly to customer requests and proven successful ability to proactively resolve issues.
¿ Knowledge of current accounting standards.
