Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Grill Chef to join our culinary team at Best Western Calcot Hotel in Reading. In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing high-quality grilled dishes that delight our guests and uphold our standards of excellence. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver timely and efficient service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station.
- Assist in menu development and suggest new grilling recipes.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for ingredients.
- Support the team during busy periods to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Uphold the hotel’s commitment to excellent customer service and culinary excellence.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Grill Chef or similar role in a restaurant or hotel environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
- Excellent cooking skills with a focus on grilling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication skills and team spirit.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
- Culinary qualification or relevant training is preferred.
