Commis Chef
Permanent, variable hour contract
Working minimum of 22.5 hours up to a maximum of 37.5 hours per week, including bank holidays and weekends at the same rate of pay, and occasional evenings with prior notice
Salary £12.80 per hour
We have an exciting opportunity at Yorkshire Sculpture Park to work within our Catering Team as a Commis Chef. You will assist with food preparation and production, using fresh and seasonal ingredients and ensuring kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Yorkshire Sculpture Park is an international centre for the creation, display and appreciation of modern and contemporary art – located in 500 acres of historic-designed landscape and five indoor galleries. Offering a unique platform for a range of practitioners, from major figures to emerging artists, it provides access to an important collection and extensive learning opportunities. YSP was awarded the prestigious Art Fund Museum of the Year in 2014 and welcomes over half a million visitors each year.
We are looking for someone who really enjoys engaging with people, has great organisational skills to assist with the preparation and delivery of a quality food and beverage service to YSP visitors, corporate hospitality, wedding and internal clients.
