Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee operations within our busy bar and music venue. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for customer service. This role involves managing a team while on shift, ensuring adherence to service and cleanliness standards, and maintaining high-quality organisational skills. The Supervisor will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive work environment while driving team performance.
Duties
- Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service.
- Lead, train, and motivate staff to achieve high standards of performance.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to guarantee compliance with health regulations.
- Cashing up tills and safe, as well as responsibility for floats on shift.
- Take part in regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and feedback.
- Address any operational issues promptly to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Support the Bar Manager and General Manager.
- Ensure Health and Safety compliance while on duty.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the bar industry.
- Strong knowledge of regulations and best practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
- Experience in bartending, including cocktails.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A passion for music and commitment to delivering high-quality event experiences.
- Previous experience in team management is highly desirable.
