Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker
Location: Waterlooville
Shifts/working hours: 48 hour shifts (Sleep in night)
Pay rates: from £9.99 - £13.68 hour (including holiday pay)
** Full uk manual driving licence required**

Our healthcare assistants/support workers deliver highly bespoke care shaped around the individual needs, goals and aspirations.
As a healthcare assistant/support worker, you will be providing high quality, person-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own home. On shift, you will be expected to provide personal care, assist with moving and handling and support with any clinical interventions specific to our client. Alongside, you will be expected to enrich their quality of life via community interaction and support in achieving their goals/aspirations.
About the role
In this role, you will be supporting our male client within his own home, who is living with a complex spinal injury. On shift you will be providing personal care, administering medications and managing our clients' clinical interventions which include care of suprapubic catheter & bowel care (all training will be provided)
Our client enjoys being out in the community and spending time with family and friends. We are looking for team members who will be happy driving our clients vehicle to support him in being an active member of his community.
Role Requirements
- 6 months care experience within the 2 years (UK based)
- Prior experience with spinal cord injuries
- Have experience with personal care, medication and manual handling
- Comfortable working in a 1:1 setting
- Willing to learn new skills and undertake complex care training
- Ability to provide high-quality care with compassion and professionalism
