Kitchen Staff – Oh My Kimchi (Exeter)
Oh My Kimchi is a proudly independent Korean restaurant bringing bold, authentic Korean flavours to Exeter. If you love food, work hard, and want to be part of something exciting , we want to hear from you. We just opened our second location in Plymouth and need more help in our Exeter kitchen.
The role
You'll be a core part of our kitchen team — keeping things running smoothly and helping us deliver consistently great food to every customer.
Your responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain your workstation, keeping the kitchen clean, organised and ready for service
- Assist with dishwashing and cleaning throughout and after service
- Complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning duties as scheduled
- Receive and store deliveries correctly, checking quality and following storage procedures
- Follow our recipes and cooking procedures to ensure every dish is consistent and delicious
- Follow all food hygiene, health and safety regulations at all times
- Keep an eye on stock levels and flag low ingredients to the manager promptly
- Support the team with any other tasks as directed by the manager
We are looking for staff for our dinner service and or lunch service. Around 20h/week but we could offer more hours to the right candidate.
Unpaid breaks: under 4h = none · 5h = 20 min · 6h = 30 min · 7h = 40 min · 8h+ = 1 hour.

Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK (essential)
- Korean language skills are a bonus but not required
- Previous kitchen experience helpful but not essential — we'll train the right person
