Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Oil Heating Engineer/Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing oil heating systems and plumbing fixtures across residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, practical skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties
- Install, service, and repair oil heating systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on heating equipment and plumbing installations
- Diagnose faults in heating and plumbing systems and carry out necessary repairs or replacements
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete tasks efficiently
- Assist with the assembly of new systems and components as required
- Perform heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely during installation or maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised following health and safety protocols
Skills
- Proficiency in plumbing, and the use of hand tools and power tools
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heating systems
- Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and technical documentation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during installations or repairs
- Valid driving licence
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship
- Excellent communication skills with colleagues and customers

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
