Established in 1991 and based in Newtown, Mid Wales, Quality Pipe Supports (QPS) Ltd is recognised as one of the worldwide market leaders in the manufacture of complete Pipe Support Systems in the world today.
We manufacture a wide range of Pipe Support Systems and general fabrication to clients that operate predominately within the Power Generation, Petrochemical, Nuclear, Offshore, Water, Oil, Gas, Pharmaceutical, Process and allied industries. Our core strengths include an adaptable, flexible approach which allows us to consistently meet every aspect of our clients’ quality needs to keep in line with their project programme. The Role
In this role you will need to have the following skills and experience:
Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating best prices, quantities and delivery timescales
Good sourcing, negotiation and analytical skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise and meet deadlines
Updating inventory and managing stock levels and Goods-in (which involves some moving and handling of boxes and packages.
Work with our systems on status of orders, stock, inventory, etc. (training will be provided)
Good IT skills – specifically Excel spreadsheets
Good interpersonal and organisational skills
Able to work as a team
Part time Working hours 28 hours per week – Monday-Thursday - 8:00-14:30, 30 minutes lunch break, Fri - 8:00-12:00, hours are flexible to fit in with employees other commitments / lifestyle
